Here is the corvette Köln (F 265) in the Kiel naval base at the Gorch-Fock-Mole. The Köln is a type K130 corvette of the German Navy, also known as the Braunschweig class. The Cologne is expected to go into service in 2025. The 89 meter long corvette F 265 Köln is the first ship of the second construction lot, which consists of a total of five ships. Overall, the F 265 Köln is now the sixth unit in the Braunschweig class. From the 1st lot of the class 130, 5 corvettes have already been put into service with the German Navy.
