Wow, pretty high: Here numerous crew members of the Gorch Fock are at a height of up to 45 meters during an exercise to set the sails. Of course, this exercise by the Gorch Fock crew is just a small show for the visitors who came to the Kiel naval base for this year’s Open Ship. The sail training ship lies safely and securely at the Gorch-Fock-Mole in the Kiel Fjord in the most beautiful sunshine and almost no wind.
