Rare visit to Kiel: For the first time ever, the US fleet supplier USNS Supply called at the Kiel-Wik naval base. As part of the annual BALTOPS maneuver in the Baltic Sea, in which USNS Supply also took part this year, the 230-meter-long fleet supplier moored for a few days in the Kiel naval port to load supplies and provisions in Kiel.
On Monday morning, Supply left the naval port and drove past the Falckensteiner Strand near lighthouse Friedrichsort on its way to the Baltic Sea, from where you can always photograph and film the passing ships very well.
