Double call AIDAprima & AIDAluna in Kiel on May 5th, 2022: On Thursday, the two cruise ships of the shipping company AIDA Cruises moored at the Ostseekai cruise terminal and left the port of Kiel again in the evening.

For the first time in 2022, on Thursday, May 5th, two ships from AIDA Cruises docked directly next to each other at the Kiel cruise terminal Ostseekai. The AIDAprima and the AIDAluna are currently deployed in the Baltic Sea and offer cruise passengers multi-day Baltic Sea cruises, calling at Copenhagen, Oslo and other ports in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, among others.

Both AIDA ships have already been guests in the port of Kiel in the past few days and will also moor in Kiel more often during the 2022 Kiel cruise season.

Goodbye AIDA: First AIDAprima, then AIDAluna

At 6 p.m. on Thursday evening, the time had come: First, the AIDAprima started to move, left its berth at the Ostseekai and passed the Kiel Fjord in the direction of the Baltic Sea with the next destination Copenhagen. And a few minutes later at around 6:15 p.m., the AIDAluna followed to leave the port of Kiel again. AIDAluna passengers could look forward to Norway’s capital Oslo, where the ship will call at the next port after a journey of around 18 hours.

In addition to the AIDAprima and AIDAluna, the AIDAbella and the AIDAnova will also call at the Kiel cruise port this year.
