The new frigate Rheinland-Pfalz (F 225) of the German Navy at the naval base in Kiel – the warship not yet in service is expected to be handed over to the German Navy in the 3rd quarter of 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So this is what it looks like, the new F 225 Rheinland Pfalz. The frigate is about to be commissioned and has made a short stopover at the Kiel Wik naval base for a few days during its test voyage (formerly Tirpitzhafen). After commissioning, the ship will be handed over to the 4th frigate squadron in Wilhelmshaven.<\/p>\n

The F 225 frigate belongs to the Baden-Württemberg class (125). This type of ship is used, for example, for stabilization missions and for the transport of special forces. The frigate F 225 Rheinland-Pfalz is already the fourth frigate in this class of ship. The following three frigates are already part of the 4th frigate squadron in Wilhelmshaven:<\/p>\n
