Die Fregatte Hessen wurde 2006 als drittes Schiff der Sachsen-Klasse in Dienst gestellt.<br>\nHeimathafen der drei Marineschiffe Fregatte Sachsen (F 219), Fregatte Hamburg (F 220) und Fregatte Hessen (F 221) ist Wilhelmshaven. Die Hessen war vom 18.3.2022 bis zum 20.3.2022 zu Gast im Marinest&uuml;tzpunkt Kiel-Wik und hatte ab Sonntagnachmittag den Marinehafen mit Ziel Ostsee und L&uuml;becker Bucht
